I've received an email stating it is an alert from yahoo to give my personal info. Is this safe?

How do I know this is from yahoo? Giving the answers of my name, birth date, user name and password doesn't seem right. Especially when the return address was not to yahoo. Please help me. I couldn't find a way to call yahoo customer service. Will you be able to give that info out?

It's a scam. Yahoo! would never request personal information in an unsolicited email. "Phishing" for your private information These deceptive emails are used to commit identity theft, and lock you out of your yahoo account by changing your password DO NOT respond. Reply:DO NOT reply. This is a phishing scam attempting to get you to give them all your personal info. It's not from Yahoo, just delete it and ignore it. Good luck and be careful.
