If its an attachment, download it to ur computer or save it to ur yahoo briefcase and (after it gets downloaded to ur computer or if saved in yahoo briefcase, go to ur yahoo briefcase) and right click it and choose the option 'rename' and type out the name u want to give it.

Most companies have ability to have anonymous e-mail addresses, so harder to trace.. but if you do a search of the e-mail address, with the provider, it may give you who it belongs to.. but of course if it has to deal with legality, the company has a way to trace the e-mail to a specific location, if cooperating with law enforcement.

if not... you maybe a victim of a "keylogger software program"
try scanning that computer with updated antivirus and antispyware to check if a "keylogger aoftware" is present on the system...

Why does my yahoo personals keep putting a pop up on my screen every time I access my personals email?
The pop up moves everytime I try to close it so now I can't even access my personals mailbox. What a lovely feature. Did ATT come up with this I bet? Please send me a rememdy.

If you mean you entered your address for contact purposes on the page, just edit it. If you used it to register your site with the host, they normally allow you to change your contact details. If you have used it to set your site url, you must keep the pointers to it correct in dns for any one to find it. This means if you change the domain part of the site, you must move the site to whoever hosts the new domain.

For some reason your personal email has been spammed. Here is 2 ways you can fix it.
You can go to your bulk folder and open the email and click "Not Spam"
OR
Go to "Options" It is on the right side of your email page
Click on "Blocked Addresses"
Click on the Address you want to remove block
Click on "Remove Block"
This should remove the block and allow it to start coming into your inbox. Hope this helps!!!

i can tell people i contact regularly be email. All services can be unsubscribed to. My only problem is people sending important emails to me after some time. June 27th 2006 I was awarded primary physical custody of my 12 month old daughter. July 28th my father passed and he was laid to rest on August 2, 2006. My ex/child's father mother started to email me and stress how she wants a relationship with me and her granddaughter. Thinking she was sincere for apologizing for her wrongs I confided in her about my grief and desire to go back home to be with family and get help with raising my daughter. August 23rd I discovered that his mother forwared all my emails to her son (who by the way is a woman beater and I had him arrested and I left and have a restraining order against along with 28 police reports and statements of his violent temper which is mother never cares to see or address). He has opted to not be in my or our daughters life. It will be a full month that he has not seen her, but yet he was requesting my emails to his mother to be sent to him. "Do not let her know that I am sending you her emails" from his mother--said his mom.

They MIGHT be able to locate your city but even then the records on node locations are not very accurate. Until recently my IP address showed up as being in NJ. Then it showed up as being in St Louis and is now in a town about 15 miles from where I live.
All of that said, any e-mail that you send DOES include your IP address. If your system isn't properly protected with a firewall it IS possible that someone COULD hack into it and get personal data that is already stored on your machine.

In your Admin or Cpanel area you are able to create an email account and how much space you want dedicated for that email. It would be best to make a seperate account in your Admin/Cpanel screen for your email, so that you don't show your login ID. Look for something that says Add User

I have signed up for the personal email addresses yahoo offers. I created my domain and now I get to use 5 email addresses. However, I cannot get the first one to show up on the left side of my mail folder. I can send emails from the address but I cannot receive them. Also, I cannot change the admin name that yahoo gave me. It just keeps saying edit requested, but it doesn't change. The help section on yahoo is not helping me at all and i really need to figure this out. Please someone take some time and walk me through everything. I basically need to change the given name to one that I desire and be able to send mail and receive mail with that address and set it up for 4 other people as well. Thank you very much.
