When you send a "special notice" out on yahoo groups does it go to everyones personal email?

If you are a yahoo group owner/moderator and are sending a Special Notice to group, it will go to all member's email addresses except those who have their notification set at "No Email".





If some members have their notification set at Special Notices Only", they will receive it since it is a "Special Notice".





When going through the process of sending a Special Notice, there will be a final "Are you sure you want to send this message?" If you do not respond to that question, the notice will not be sent. The first time I sent a Special Notice, I did not follow that step and it did not go out.

Reply:No sure exactly what you mean here? You are saying when you SEND a special notice, am I to assume you are an owner and you are sending a message to tue group and checking off the square that says send special notice?





Then the answer is yes, it is sent to their mailbox, with the exception to those who are on no mail, or on special notice
