I was so on edge this past week after seeing this email. I never showed it to my husband but kept responding to it as if I was HIM thinking it was someone contacting him. Then, the same email came to another screen name of our's (our everyday used one by the whole family). I responded to that one also thinking again that someone was trying to contact my husband.


Apparently, my husband had seen the last one in our deleted mail where I was trying to keep it from him. He immediately though I WAS THE ONE this Jodie was trying to contact. Especially since I was responding to the emails.


For days we were both very stand offish to each other and neither of us knew that the other was thinking the same about them.


If a friend of mine had not come over and I show her this email we would have still being fearing the worse of each other. She convinced me to research the email address and all and after an hour I finally came across this posting.


Thank God! I then called my hubby in to show him what was going on and he then let me know that he had seen the emails and thought I was doing something behind his back.


He then laughed and said," I should have known it was a hoax. JODIE is always screwing your loved one while you are away. "


Yep, he is in the military and chanted those chants everyday during training and running.

Another bit of information is that the email was sent Blind Carbon Copy. I don't know any one who is in any kind of relationship (good, bad, secret...) who would send thier "other half of the relationship" something BCC if it were to be a personal message. Report Abuse

Reply:Depending on how you are reading this Jodie could be a girl or Jodie could be a guy. Jodie is commonly referred to by military men, men in jail, anyone who is away from there spouse or girlfriend, as the guy who is sleeping with your significant other.





"Jodie at your house with your wife right now."





It causes the person who is hearing to start having doubts about there relationship in his absence. This could be a blanket email that is being used to cause mental anguish for both women, who believe it to be a woman emailing there man or to a man who is away from home thinking his woman has found someone else.

See my other half does just so happen to have a "quote" friend named jodie, , so they say!! I believed to have been something more...anyways, I seen this email , and naturally assumed it was him and that they had recently enocuntered each other....I sorta asked about it via text messages about seeing someone lately that he should not be seeing and he said no, that he has no idea what I am talking about....I am so so so glad to see these posted on here....Jodie gets around huh?....Happier Now
Reply:I am so glad I decided to google the email address and came up with all of these responses. My boyfriend was about to hear it big time!


Especially that the email was sent on 1/10 at around 4 am, a night he happened to be out for a bachelor party, LMAO!
Reply:I was going thru my husband's mail and i found that stupid Jodie email. Our marriage has been on the rocks lately too. I was CONVINCED he was cheating on me! I was SO MAD! I just called him at work to call him out on it. He swore he was innocent. Told me to answer it and find out who it was. No response. I should have googled it first BEFORE i called him out on it. Im such an idiot. Believe me, anyone else who got that ridiculous email- its totaly FAKE! There is NO JODIE messing around with you're guys! I just wish i had kept my mouth shut until i had my facts straight.....
Reply:Im not sure, I got an email to saying " when are we going to meet again, Jody" I thought it may be a guy that opened a Gym in Hattiesburg, MS that got my email mixed up with my boyfriends. What did your email say?
Reply:Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a relief on finding these questions.I was checking hubby's mail found this Email from Jodie and was letting my mind get the best of me. He is a trucker and I was ready to start WW4 when I found this email saying hey when can we meet again Jodie

Reply:i"m so glad to find this.i was in my hubbys personal email and saw jodies email i freaked out an broke up with him. iwas convinced he was cheating with this jodie. now i feel so stupit i dont know why jodie did this but i wish he or she didnt
Reply:My sister in law got the same e-mail in her husbands work mailbox. She is supposed to check it for the business. We almost flipped out. Somebody needs to stop this lady or whatever it is before they ruin a marriage.
Reply:I found the same email in my husbands personal email today (1/14). He left for Iraq last Friday and I want to freak out, but I am seeing that others are getting this so maybe I shouldn't! Either way, has anyone responded?
Reply:I'm glad to know that others received this same message. I opened it and wondered, "who the heck is Jodie?" Why would anyone send out such an odd message to bulk addresses? Makes no sense to me.

Reply:My boyfriend got this e-mail too! He gets a lot of spam so I wasn't that worried, but when I checked this I felt a lot better. I'm glad I checked before jumping to conclusions lol
